Summary : Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and medical facility. The main duty of this position is checking in / out patients, in-coming calls, collection of payments, and scheduling.
Include the following, other duties may be assigned
Checks in daily patients confirming demographics, current insurances, and DME.
Collection of any balances that are due, co-pays, deductibles
Enters Patient forms before appointment
Checks out daily patients, scheduling future appointments
Scanning of documents to patient charts
Educate patients on sleep study and DME process
Call patients to confirm their appointments
Forwarding Sleep Lab daily patient list for sleep studies
Daily deposits and reports
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Credentials, Certification, and / or Experience :
High School Diploma or GED, 2-year degree preferred
EMR / EHR experience (Preferred)
Previous work experience in a medical office setting
Ability to multitask

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills
Good organizational skills
Competent in usage of office equipment
