Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Provide administrative support to dental staff
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes
- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of dental administrative procedures and terminology preferred but not required
- Familiarity with dental procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
