• **Job Summary:**

We are seeking a customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional service to our guests.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently

- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel facilities and services

- Assist guests with reservations, both over the phone and in person

- Manage guest requests promptly and effectively

- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area

- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction

- Provide general concierge services to guests inquring about things to do in the local area, directions, attractions, restaurants. Ideal candidate has been in Asheville long enough to provide inspiration to guests who are visiting the area for the first time.

**Skills:**

- Strong computer skills to efficiently and quickly process guest arrivals and departures.

- Customer service experience is preferred

- Multilingual abilities are a plus

- Proficient in phone etiquette

- Knowledge of front desk operations

- Understanding of guest services in the hospitality industry

- Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is beneficial
