(FT or PT, Summer Seasonal Position) The Guest Service Staff & Activity Attendant are responsible for the professional and safe operation of the summer operations and actives. In addition, they will provide a fun, pleasant, and professional experience to guest visiting Arizona Snowbowl.

Essential Functions:

• Knowledge of Arizona Snowbowl facilities and services. A thorough understanding of Snowbowl’s tickets, season passes, promotions, and discounts is expected.
• Customer service skills while interacting with diverse guests and their needs. This includes being able and ready to greet every guest with a smile and answer their question(s) accurately and politely. Pleasant and well-developed social skills are a must.
• Accurate and proficient basic math skills with attention to detail to result in accurate cash handling in a fast paced environment. Daily drawer balancing is required.
• Deal with basic problem solving situations.
• Familiarity with computers, software, and phone systems.
• Familiarity and compliance with department policies.
• Able to answer emails professionally.
• Ability to restock retail items and keep the retail section clean and orderly. (i.e.)folding T-shirts, zipping up jackets, stocking and facing inventory.
• Responsible for cleanliness of the Sport Shop, tunnel, and Activities area.
• Responsible for setting up, operating, and taking down our outside summer activities.
• Outstanding work ethic and attendance; willingness to work holidays and weekends.
• Providing outstanding teamwork and ability to collaborate with others daily.
• Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Commitment to providing a safe work environment for employees and guests.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience on a POS/ using cash drawer Preferred
• Basic math skills
• Experience working in a customer service position

Physical Requirements:

• Able to move and carry at least 25 pounds
• Cleaning/ maintaining lodge and department areas such as windows, picking up trash, ect.
• Standing for extended periods
• Working in an outside mountain environment
