**Description**

The GEODIS Capacity Solutions **Sales & Operations Specialist** is responsible for supporting multiple functional areas focused on increasing the efficiency of freight brokerage operations and supporting all stages of the sales cycle. Participate in strategic initiatives to achieve goals for business growth. Examples include but are not limited to improving the effective use of available technology, developing content for and conducting job training, aligning sales and marking efforts, management of data integrity in CRM, etc.

**Job Duties** : -

* Manages offices on campus or region. Understand the business preferences and priorities in order to best support the operation

* Provides administrative support to the Sales and Operations leaders. Oversee CRM performance and engagement across the team. Prepare CRM reporting for consumption by the management team. Support data cleansing projects to ensure a high level of integrity in CRM data.

* Recognize operational weaknesses and help sharpen processes or develop new ones

* Maintains and controls SharePoint site, distribution lists and shared inboxes

* Partners with the corporate recruiting team on behalf of the division to drive recruiting and hiring efforts for the GCS offices

* Manage hardware and system access requests for a new user as well as the deactivation and collection of equipment associated with off-boarding for all GCS offices

* Oversees the development of job-specific training content, individualized training plans for new hires and existing team members and coordinates training resources to ensure efficient onboarding and increased success in sales results

* Continually evaluates training content and delivery methods to analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed; presents recommendations for improvement to senior leadership

* Oversee bi-weekly timecard review and approvals

* Coordinate employee recognition and engagement events

* Acts as the workstream lead on small scale projects

* Other duties as required and assigned

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

* Bachelors degree preferred

* Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training

* Customer or sales experience in a freight brokerage environment preferred

* PC proficiency to include strong Microsoft Office skills with Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

* Maintains discretion and sensitivity with confidential information

* A self-starter who can manage priorities and make trade-offs when needs change

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

**Environment:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The incumbent is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
