Our Client, a Multinational Entertainment Company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Music Licensing Specialist to join their team out of New York, NY!

***This is a 9 Month Initial Contract position***

Responsibilities:

• Research music for all details pertinent to clearance and tracking; including publisher(s), record label(s), performing rights society(ies) and type of usage.
• Provide music guidance (e.g., clearance analysis, estimates, etc.)
• Comprehensive high volume music clearance (e.g. in program use, digital only, performances, clips); includes drafting/sending licensing requests, negotiating fees, reviewing materials for inconsistencies/new language.
• Provide support and/or process music license requests, pick-ups, licenses, etc.
• Process payments; set up vendors in system and interact with AP team
• Organize and maintain tracking grids, cost charts and database for production music usage and licensing.
• Negotiate, draft, review and process invoices/ music licenses and related agreements

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Licensing Law experience
• Experience with Music Licensing
