Role Overview: They are seeking an experienced and passionate Staff Frontend Engineer to join their talented team in Boston, MA. As a key member of the engineering team, you will lead the development of innovative frontend solutions for marketing technology platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly frontend applications that drive customer engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of frontend applications using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable frontend solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and best practices in frontend development.
• Drive frontend engineering initiatives, including code refactoring, performance optimization, and architectural improvements.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in frontend development.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
• Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and frontend optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing technology and digital advertising platforms is desirable but not required.
