Our client is a widely used utility services company that provides telecom, natural gas, and electric services across New England.

They are in need of a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist you'll be responsible for supporting the payroll processing for company and acting as the first point of contact for any inquiries related to payroll.

You'll be working heavily with Workday payroll processing as well as with ADP SmartCompliance. You'll be bringing in experience and knowledge of multi-state pay practices, labor laws, and tax rules.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite in downtown Boston. Required Skills & Experience College degree preferred;

2-4 years of experience of payroll processing required.Experience with Workday payroll processing required.Experience with ADP SmartCompliance and tax administration desired, but not required.

Payroll certification a plus.Experience with or knowledge of multi-state pay practices, labor laws, tax rules and benefit impacts.
