KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is Hiring a PAYROLL SPECIALIST Near Boston, MA

JOB SUMMARY

A PE-backed, industry leading software company has an opening for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a remote basis.

The Payroll Specialist will report to the Global Payroll Manager & have the primary responsibility of completing day-to-day payroll functions and will also get involved with vital role in the complex and special pay situations.

While the role is 100% remote, the company requires someone to be local to be the Boston area. Applicants outside of New England will not be considered unless they are planning on relocating to the area.

Job Description:
  • Processing of all payrolls for US, Canada, and international countries with commissions, bonuses, and deductions
  • Work with the external payroll provider to ensure seamless employee payments, efficient local payroll processing & reporting practices
  • Collaborate with business partners on special data requests for audits, projects, etc.
  • Research and resolve tax issues collaborating with payroll provider
  • Review timesheets, communicate with employees and managers to address issues with timesheets
  • Oversees and participates in pre- & post- payroll auditing procedures and troubleshoot abnormalities
Job Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience working with full payroll cycle for US, Canada and international
  • Workday payroll experience
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage and hour laws is required
Compensation up to 85K depending on experience!
