- Support the Facilities Manager in the operation of the Maintenance Department
- Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
- Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
- Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
- High standards for quality work with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Capable of working in fast paced environment, requiring prioritization while being proactive and flexible.
- High energy, positive, “can-do” attitude, flexible, team focused, detail-oriented with a high degree of initiative.
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Must have an acceptable driving record as some driving may be required in a company vehicle
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
- Ability to stoop and bend
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down ladders and stairs
