Our project capabilities and experience include commercial, single-family residential, multi-family residential, and public works infrastructure projects all over the DFW Metroplex. While Moss Utilities was founded in 2016, the Moss family has a legacy in the utility construction industry in Dallas-Fort Worth dating back to the early 1900's. Come join the Moss Utilities journey and family legacy.We are looking to add another Safety Advisor to our rapidly growing Safety Team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Ensure that all operations promote positive safety culture integral to each site while providing Quality, Reliability, and Strong Safety Commitment from our teamsImplement and facilitate training programs specific to site and customer requirementsAnticipate, identify, and evaluate, hazardous conditions and practicesDevelop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programsImplement, administer, and advise others on Moss Utilities hazard control programsMeasure, audit, and evaluate, the effectiveness of hazard control and safety programsCommunicate and work with the customer’s safety representation and ensure our compliance with the customer, local, state, and federal safety standardsRespond to and manage any safety incident in 24-hour, 7-day operationTraining for various topics regarding safety and leadership.Handling of drug screens for employees.The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:Knowledge in the following industryHeavy Civil / Excavation work.Technical writing skillsStrong leadership skills and attributesAble to motivate, inspire, and coach others, to maximize safe behaviorsPassion for Safety and LeadershipIdeal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:Safety and Health Program ManagementSafety, Health & Environmental Laws, Regulations and StandardsSystem and Process SafetyOccurrence, Investigation and AnalysisIndustrial ProcessesUnderstanding of U.S. regulatory environmental programsGeneral Experience/Requirements:3-5 years Industry experience in Heavy Civil workSpanish SpeakingWhat you get from working at Moss:An incredible culture built on our core valuesCompetitive pay and solid benefitsOn-site fitness center, basketball court and personal training Awesome clients and great projectsBenefits offered:Medical, dental and vision coverage, Life Insurance, STD, Accident & Critical IllnessMultiple health plan options 401(k) with a company match
