We’re growing fast and right now we’re seeking a game changing accounting professional to join our team. What makes a game changing accounting professional? The person we are seeking is passionate about helping find, hire, and train team members to bring the vision of enhancing the quality of people’s lives in their home to a reality.  Qualifications for this key position include:

• Timely preparation of financial reports on a monthly and annual basis including income statements, balance sheets, and reports required internally and externally;
• Provide internal and external reports, revise and update reports, and initiate new reports as needed;
• Coordinate with Operations to review reports to analyze projection of profits versus actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals;
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and clients regarding payables and receivables;
• Coordinate with outside accounting firm to prepare and complete review and tax returns;
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process;
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local, corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes;

Successful qualities sought for this position:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years generalist accounting experience, preferably in a growing, dynamic environment
• Experience with job cost accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Familiarity with percent of completion and work in progress accounting for the construction industry;
• Experience processing payroll
• Solid excel skills a must! Don't need macros, but at least Vlookups and Pivots;
• A good understanding of debits/credits, assets/liabilities, etc.;
• QuickBooks experience and comfortable with other IT software and hardware;
• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, subcontractors, clients and co-workers;
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is a plus;
