- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Review cash reports prepared by staff accountants.
- Review monthly closing procedures performed by staff accountants.
- Review inventory report prepared by staff accountants.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly P&L projection reports to Korea Headquarters.
- Monitor A/R, A/P aging.
- Issue payments after obtaining approval from CFO.
- Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
- Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
- Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management.
- Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
- Tax reconciliation.
- Supervising staff accountants.
- P&L statement preparation and review.
- Directly report to the Accounting Manager and CFO.
- Other duties upon requests by the supervisors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-4 years of accounting/ tax experience.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of the U.S GAAP.
- Knowledge of US Federal, State, and local tax laws.
- Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Confidentiality and integrity.
- CPA license is plus.
