We are not a standard, run-of-the-mill pest control company. We only treat outdoor pests like mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and other outdoor pests no crawl spaces, no attics, and no scary sheds to deal with.

You get to work outside, drive a sweet company ride with air conditioning, tinted windows, and other amenities. You also get a nice workout throughout the day carrying a blower and traversing various terrains for approximately 20 minutes a service call.

You will make some bugs and pests take a long nap and leave the customer to make fun memories outside again!

Conquering Mosquitoes and other Outdoor Pests Yep, you are there to wage war on mosquitoes, other pesky insects and outdoor pests that can ruin outdoor fun.

Our customers depend on you to remove and repel these enemies from their yards and property.

Communicating with the Local Office You are the boots on the ground but will be in close communication with the office.

This is key for making sure you have the right supplies to do the job and ensuring you know which property to treat!

Communicating with Leads and Customers You have the opportunity to help the company grow by learning a few quick teasers to our service that could potentially get the whole neighborhood signed up! You are also conversing with our customers in person, on the phone, or via text to ensure we are meeting their expectations and making them aware of our presence.

We help place you in jobs in the post season, but we also have some residual work periodically in the off-season as well.

To Succeed in this Role as a Pest Control Technician

• Always bring your A-game. Remember, you are always on a public stage. You might think no one is home or watching, but you might impress someone with your pest control professionalism!
• Take the training seriously. You will learn the proper guidelines for using the products, and we will even help you get licensed where required.

This is paramount to your success! If you simply try and mimic the next person instead of diving into all of the resources made available to you, then you may impact the success of the business as well as your success.

• Stay on schedule. We will give you the schedule and timing for the day (usually around 15 appointments).
• Do it right the first time. You do not want the customer to call you back out to do it over. This is a direct cost to the company and could impact your off-season bonus.
• Leave the whining at home. Some days the work will be hard. It will be hot. You will not want to work. Then your work ethic will kick in, and you will show up with a smile.

Work together. Work as a team. Make it a competition and let this job bring out the best in you!

Think observantly and creatively when assessing each unique property. Every property is different, with different problems to solve.

You will learn this over time. It is highly recommended to ask questions to your peers or to ownership or the office when you need guidance.

Learning is acquired, but it depends on your motivation to learn and absorb as much as possible to make you the most effective Technician on the team.

Job Requirements

There are a few minimum requirements for our Pest Control Technician :

• You must be able to lift and carry a backpack, which weighs 65 lbs. (This will be your strength training workout.)
• You must be able to walk with a 65 lb. backpack for a lengthy period of time. (This will be your cardio workout. You can cancel your gym membership)
• You must wear protective gear and a uniform. (You will be protecting yourself while looking good in uniform)
• You must be able to handle the summer heat. (It is like being paid to go to the sauna.)
• You must operate and drive safely. You are driving a billboard that will either drive business to us or away from us. We need responsible employees who take care to protect themselves and ensure they are able to come to work each day
• And finally, you must not have moral qualms about being a pest assassin.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $16 to $20 and depends on whether you have prior experience in this or other similar mosquito or pest control positions.
