SUMMARY

To assist in the day-to-day operations of the PACE referral process.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :

In this role, you will perform various clerical functions to support operations processes for the PACE office. As Clerical staff, your responsibilities will include :

• Calls and screens referrals.
• Checks voice mails and returns calls to prospective clients and families.
• Sends out literature to prospected clients.
• Enters referral-based demographics in Cognify.
• Checks for Medicaid eligibility on Flmmis.
• Completes and updates spreadsheets for census and state purposes.
• Provides additional support as needed including participation in center on call requirements.
• Communicates with physician offices to obtain participant medical records.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years related experience and / or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and standard computer functions
• Must have one year working with frail elders

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Training and certifications as required by PACE.

Must be able to lift with the use of lift devices or assistance for residents with weight in excess of 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Salary : $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
