About Morrison Preschool:
We are a family of educators and caregivers that maintain an equal emphasis on the social and academic realms in a Christian environment. At Morrison Preschool each child receives helpful guidance in social interaction with their classmates, as well as learning opportunities that will enhance their future.

We are looking for highly motivated Assistant Preschool Teachers for our infant classroom. An assistant must have a great love and patience for children. Prior experience is not required, but is a plus.

An Assistant Teacher's role in the classroom includes:

• Collaborating with and taking instruction from the Lead Teacher
• Employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
• Observing each child to help them improve their fine and gross motor skills
• Supervising children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Performing diaper changes & assisting with bottle feeding
• Maintaining a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Required skills include:

• Passion for childcare and education
• Willingness to take instruction and/or constructive feedback
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with age-appropriate practices
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable

This position is for closing shifts:

• Full Time - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Part Time - 2:30 pm 5:30 pm
