The Role:
The Manager, People Analytics will play a critical role in guiding Morningstar's human capital data capabilities, analyzing this data, and harvesting and sharing insights that support decisions related to our employee experience, workforce, and talent strategies. The role is responsible for the people analytics data functions, and for coordinating with HR and business leaders to inspire change through actionable insights. The role reports to the Head of Strategy, and Analytics within Morningstar's People & Culture (HR) function and will work closely with technical/systems experts in Workday, Tableau, PowerBI, and Qualtrics to maintain and advance data/analytics capabilities within an articulated people analytics strategy you'll help to develop.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a mature people analytics function and can draw on this experience in charting the path for advancing Morningstar's capability. You will be a strong collaborator with a natural ability to get to the heart of core questions/problems, design research/analytics programs around those problems, execute research plans, develop insights based on the research outputs, and then communicate insights in a manner that is appropriate and actionable for the relevant decision-making audience. Depending on the nature of the analysis/insight, your stakeholders may include employees, managers, HR leadership, Finance leaders, and executive leadership.
This role is based in our Chicago office. We are operating in a hybrid environment (3 days/in office).
