Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, test results, and treatments.
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations.
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals.
- Ensure a high level of patient service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Skills:
- Proficiency in patient care techniques, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to accurately document patient information.
- Experience with medication administration, including oral, topical, and inhalation routes.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Basic life support certification.
- Familiarity with medical coding systems and procedures.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients.
