Physician-led Dermatology Practice seeking Medical Assistant role.

The ideal candidate for this position is responsible, reliable, has a positive attitude and is excited to serve patients. Candidate must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, work at a fast pace, have a desire to learn daily, and provide a great patient experience above all else.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for exams and procedures
• Assisting physicians with surgeries and procedures
• Taking necessary vital signs and measurements
• Charting pre and post appointment
• Obtaining and processing lab specimens
• Scheduling appointments, tests and procedures
• Communicating lab and procedure results to patients by telephone
• Assisting the physicians in any other way to ensure efficient patient flow.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year medical assistant program or completion of a four year bachelor degree required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Certified Dermatology Tech (CDT) preferred
