The National Center for Primary Care (NCPC) at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) seeks to hire a clinician-researcher to serve as NCPC Assistant Research Director and Director of the Southeast Regional Clinicians Network (SERCN). This individual will spend approximately 60-70% of their effort contributing to the NCPC’s broad scope of research activities under the leadership of the NCPC Research & Policy Division Director. This individual will spend approximately 30-40% of their effort providing clinical services in Morehouse Healthcare as clinical faculty through one of MSM’s primary care departments under the leadership of the Department Chair.
Under the guidance and direction of the NCPC Research & Policy Director, the Assistant Research Director will contribute to the NCPC’s broad scope of research activities. The individual will lead the design, planning, and implementation of existing research projects and collaborate with the NCPC research team on study design and development of research questions, analytic plans, manuscripts, and funding proposals. As the SERCN Director, this individual will oversee and coordinate all ongoing research and engagement activities related to SERCN, take on a leadership role on funded projects, and develop a strategic plan to guide SERCN activities over the next five years.
