Maintenance Technician position – Greensboro, NC 

In search of a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

To be considered for this position, the right candidate will have 2 years’ experience in any of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general construction repairs. Prior experience in property or facility maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: 

· Monitoring work completed by maintenance techs & prioritize tasks accordingly. 

· Performing and/or facilitating all general and preventative maintenance for the property including mechanical systems, common areas (interior and exterior) and apartment units. 

· Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly inspections of all areas of the Property 

· Unit turn-over tasks including drywall repairs, appliance repairs, lighting and plumbing repairs 

· Upkeep of the property grounds 

· Maintain supply inventories for regularly used parts 

· Completion of work-orders as assigned in a timely manner 

· Completion of regular maintenance plans and schedules 

· Answering after hours emergency calls and responding appropriately on a rotation. 

· Other duties as required and directed by the Property Manager

Applicants must: 

· Have reliable transportation to and from the property 

· Be physically able to climb a ladder & stairs 

· Be physically able to lift 50 pounds 

· Communicate via email, text, or phone with vendors, residents and staff 

· Participate in an on-call rotation for after hours emergencies.

This is a full-time hourly position. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
