Your Responsibility

• You will play an integral role in the accounting month-end closing process.
• You will prepare reconciliations, post journal entries, perform inventory analysis, and generate a variety of financial reports.
• You will maintain fixed asset records, assist in preparation of capital expenditure requests and justifications.
• You will perform job cost analysis to ensure actual costs and projections are accurate, forecasting the expected outcome of projects in the portfolio.
• You will assist in the development of forecasts and budgets and perform other tasks inside the accounting function.
• You will generate various scheduled and special reports and participate in special projects relating to the activities of the accounting department.
• You will correspond with customers by phone/email to investigate reasons for delinquency/non-payment. 
• You will collaborate with other departments/personnel within the company to ensure proper resolution of customer account problems.

What are we looking for?

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting coupled with over 2 years of professional experience, preferably within a manufacturing or operations setting. 
• Exceptional grasp of financial principles, including a solid understanding of GAAP. 
• Robust analytical abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with fully integrated ERP systems. 
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with a capacity to adjust to evolving objectives and priorities. 
• Keen attention to detail, alongside flexibility in adapting to shifting objectives and priorities.
