We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Patient Relations Manager in our Department of Patient Relations, Montefiore New Rochelle.
JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Relations Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. This is a key role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing outstanding support to our patients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a liaison between patient and departments to assist in providing improved communications
-Assist patients with non medical needs at admission i.e. telephone, dietary issues etc
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed
- Enroll patients in patient portals, and assist in log on to accounts and set up of emails as needed
- Assist in recovery of lost belongings
- Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Provide support and information as necessary to family members
``JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school Diploma required, (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- At-least 3 years experience in customer relations or similar role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative support in a medical setting
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
