MCN is seeking an individual with lived experience being a parent of child with serious emotional disturbance or developmental disabilities. Applicants must have a child who previously received at least one year of community mental health services. The position provides intensive training in the Parent Support Partner model through Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The job entails working side by side with families to navigate the service system.
Hours: Position is 16 to 20 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings.
Wage: $18 to $24 per hour as average pay with certification.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required.
Other Requirements: Possession of a valid State of Michigan driver's license and a chauffeur’s license.
