The QA Lab Technician is responsible for collecting the quality data of the final product(s) produced at site and ensuring compliance with all product specifications. During testing, some of the state-of-the-art analytical techniques include: surface area analysis via gas adsorption (BET), titration analysis of carbon black samples, particle histogram via SEM and TEM, oil absorption number (OAN) analysis, surface energy measurement and other techniques.

• Prior experience in a quality laboratory is advantageous

• Be trained on lab procedures, help set up lab procedures, and certify operators and other individuals in quality testing
• Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and conviction. Adherence and commitment to Monolith’s SH&E philosophy and procedures is required

• Fulfill the expectations of this role for a minimum of 1 year prior to evaluation of future roles and responsibilities
• Perform other duties as needed

• Perform shift work, including weekends, as needed. This may change over the course of time
• You will work in an office and lab setting at our technical center in Lincoln, Nebraska
