Monarch Staffing is Hiring a Career Development Specialist Near Lansdowne, PA
- Performs intake assessments into the Career Services Program
- Acts as a liaison between employers and the Career Services Program by meeting with potential employers and developing contacts to create a Job Bank database
- Provides presentations to referral sources, businesses, colleges and other community groups to explain the Career Services Program
- Meets with new program consumers and develops an individual Career Service Plan outlining goals and action steps required to achieve those goals
- Assists program participants with job applications, resumes, references and job interviews
- Documents all interactions in progress notes and prepares monthly reports to submit to Career Services Supervisor
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines – requires someone with high energy, self-motivated and proactive
- Motivation, interest and ability to work empathetically and creatively with people who have mental illness required
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
