Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool and toddler care.
- Provide support and assistance to children with special needs, including those with autism, by following behavior management strategies and individualized plans.
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the daycare setting.

-Closing Duties: Cleaning classroom, etc.

- Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions and modeling appropriate behaviors.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for children with special needs, particularly autism.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and age-appropriate activities for young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from the lead teacher.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; additional early childhood education coursework is a plus.
