TITLE: Construction Project Manager

DESCRIPTION: Mohawk Valley Materials, Inc., a women-owned small business headquartered in Rome, New York, is seeking an experienced Heavy / Civil Construction Project Manager (PM) to join our successful and growing team.

Job and Skill Requirements:

· Responsible for all project life-cycle phases;

· Plan, execute, and control projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints to meet or exceed project fee goals;

· Ability to manage projects remotely and across multiple geographic regions;

· Proficient in MS Excel, and Word;

· Ability to communicate written and verbally;

· Ability to schedule and manage personnel & equipment resources to complete multiple jobs simultaneously;

· Client-focused with emphasis on quality;

· Serve as primary interface with clients and MVM assigned Foreman;

· Serve as the first point of contact for issue-resolution;

· Supervise Project Administrator(s) that assist with day-to-day project support;

· Mitigate project risks;

· Strict attention to detail;

· Reliable attendance;

· 4 years’ experience managing complex USACE (or similar) projects;

· Ability to work independently and within a team;

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required;

· Ability to travel up to 25% of time;

· U. S. Citizenship.

Desired Credentials and Experience:

· Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software (Required);

· Proficiency in USACE Resident Management System (RMS) System (Required);

· Experience with USACE Government contracts (Required);

· Military or horizontal construction background (Required);

· Experience managing FFP, CPFF, T&M contracts;

· Experience managing subcontractors and vendors;

· Familiarity with ISO 9001 and CMM;

· Project Management Professional (PMP) credential (Desired).
