Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects related to metal buildings from start to finish. This role works closely with clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer’s specifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timelines are met
- Must possess technical skills to understand and interpret specifications and drawings, construction methods, and contract documents. Responsible for generating requests for information.
- Responsible for project scopes of work, developing and evaluating estimates, preparing quotations, project execution, change orders, cost approval, and project close out.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to safety regulations
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, including clients and senior management
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within financial constraints
- Responds to escalated project issues and coordinates solutions.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Pre-engineered metal building experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, coordination, and construction management principles
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Location: Role is Hybrid, will requred limited travel to client facilities and jobsites.
