Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and management of construction project projects from start to finish
• Works with project managers to communicate project requirements and resources to field crews
• Coordinates internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within their pre-defined budget and schedule
• Material handling and coordination including staging jobs for crews
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
• Works with project managers to communicate project requirements and resources to field crews

• Create and maintain project schedules using software
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts and change orders
• Conduct research and gather data to support project decision-making processes
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
• Assist in the coordination of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
• Support the construction estimating process by reviewing bids and proposals
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Experience in coordinating teams or projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
