Description

We are currently looking for a skilled and driven Outside Sales Representative to spearhead our expansion efforts in the extended Missouri region. This candidate must be capable of traveling to St. Louis and various locations in Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in building relationships with existing clients, uncovering new opportunities, and diligently pursuing potential leads. Additionally, the Outside Sales Representative will stay informed about industry trends, identify emerging markets, collaborate on expansion strategies, and serve as the main point of contact for our valued customers.

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation that aligns with your experience, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually. The Outside Sales Representative’s salary will be determined based on qualifications and relevant expertise. 

In addition to your base salary, you will also have the opportunity to earn substantial commissions based on your sales performance, offering the potential for even greater earnings.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel within the greater St. Louis region

• Requires education as is generally acquired in four (4) years of college with a degree in business, or three (3) years of sales experience; or three (3) years business experience

• Willingness to travel an average of 8-12 days per month, with overnight stays

• Exhibit professionalism when interacting with colleagues within and beyond MPT

• Represent our company with the utmost professionalism and ethical conduct

• Possess strong computer skills and excel in interpersonal communication

• Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal direction

• Maintain a clean driving record and have reliable transportation

• Ability to work efficiently in a fully remote capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years or more of sales experience in manufacturing industries

• Proven track record in outside industrial sales

Ideal: Sales experience in the Stamping, Tool, and Die sector
