Modern Handling Equipment Company, Inc. is an operating company of Modern Group Ltd. Since 1946, we have been a dealer for some of America's leading forklift manufacturers. Our customers are located primarily in eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Southern New Jersey and a portion of Maryland. We are seeking a Sales Coordinator in our Bristol, PA Headquarters.
Daily contact with salesmen, vendors, customers, internal personnel at all levels and processing of customer orders & invoices. Additional responsibilities include generating purchase orders, maintenance of customer database and coordination/support of our sales and management teams amongst 7 branch locations. Heavy phone & e-mail contact daily; switchboard coverage when needed; filing, copying, etc.

Data Processing and Administrative

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft applications and Outlook Calendar & Contact Management functions and be able to leverage technology for business goals.
• Properly input all required data into computer system, including customer information and updates
• Maintain all sales files accurately.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass background check and physical/drug screen.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School graduate and one-year related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of an organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
