Mobile Health Team Inc, is a Nurse owned staffing agency that focuses on meeting the needs of our healthcare professionals by offering a variety of placement options, flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
We are currently looking for experienced, hardworking and compassionate Healthcare Professionals to join us and help bridge the staffing gap in all aspects of the healthcare system. We offer PRN, Contract and permanent positions.
Position: RN-Medical/SurgicalStart Date: 3/18/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Petoskey, MI, 49770
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights,12
Shift Notes: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
On-Call Requirements: No Call
COVID-19/FLU Requirement: n/a Travel Policy: The local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35-mile radius of the facility is considered a local traveler.Further Specifics

- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Clinical Expertise: Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessment consistent with the patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
- Knowledge: Seeks life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review.
- Leadership/Credibility: Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge, being a clinical resource, and professional role model.
- Communication: Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication.
- Productivity: Demonstrates enhanced time management skills and ability to assist others to contribute to the overall performance of the team.
- Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives.
- 2 Years of experience - Required
- Travel - highly preferred
- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
