Moët Hennessy USA is Hiring a Regional Marketing & Retail Manager Near New York, NY

Enhance the luxury positioning of the MH portfolio and support retail sales/market share growth by driving bold, innovative programing and salesforce motivation in Travel Retail Americas.

Airport Retail

  • Act as the retail sales champion in the region, consisting in engaging all functions to think “retail first”
  • Analyze and leverage data to draw volume, image and/or profitability driving actions
  • Develop innovative, engaging consumer brand experiences that are executable in an airport retail environment
  • Lead planning of all airport permanent merchandising and activation programs, in coordination with commercial teams and visual merchandiser
  • Assist in defining regional Maison-level distribution strategies
  • Detail management of all airport project timelines to ensure all key milestones and launch dates are met
  • Implementation of instore tools to measure and improve performance such as Planogramming, KPIs and store classification
  • Develop tools to organize and assist in-field program execution for Sales Ambassadors and Supervisors
  • Regularly visit key airports and stores to identify opportunities and needs
  • Dotted-line management of Airport Visual Merchandiser & External Consultant

Brand Development

  • Assist Marketing Director to build the annual marketing brand plan and support implementation at key accounts in collaboration with sales team
  • Grow PR and digital programming as it relates to airports to drive MH brand visibility and share activations
  • Compile business performance updates including: market analysis, competition information and marketing ROI analysis
  • Identify growth opportunities on the field and develop appropriate tools
  • Support the Sales Team with sell-out initiatives and customer-oriented tools
  • Develop a network of expert agencies ensuring MH Audit full compliancy

Profile

  • Proactively monitor and evaluate competitor operational activities including promotional & merchandising activity, category management and advertising
  • Identify and recommend investment priorities for visibility and activation programs
  • Build strong working relationship with Global Travel Retail marketing in Paris via regular meetings, communication and project updates.
  • Ensure a strong working knowledge of key strategic customers to effectively build annual program calendars.

Education: Bachelors or Advance Degree

Languages: Excellent spoken and written English, Spanish/Portuguese a plus

Professional Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in wines & spirits or luxury goods industry.
  • 3 years experience in retail, preferably Travel Retail.
  • Good understanding of the luxury brand landscape.

Must be able to travel:

  • Frequent travelling is required approximately 40% of the year
  • Job based in Miami, FL

Technical and Management Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong timeline/project management skills
  • Ability to work across different cultural environments
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of organization
  • Excellent project planning & management
  • High level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
