MMGY has an opening for an Influencer Marketing Manager in our Overland Park, KS office. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join the social media department to develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and programs for clients in the hospitality, travel and entertainment industries. This person will work alongside social media teams in order to incorporate influencer programs into social media marketing plans.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Identify influencer opportunities to be leveraged with other business units
• Lead daily strategy execution between key clients and influencers & content creators
• Execute full-scale influencer campaigns that support brand initiatives with defined objectives and KPIs with measurable business impact
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in social media, paid advertising, creative services and public relations to develop dynamic campaigns that drive business performance for our clients
• Demonstrate a high level of savvy and thoughtfulness with clients
• Establish goals and objectives, along with key success metrics for each program and be able to compile comprehensive reporting outlining objectives, goals, KPIs and insights
• Identify authentic target influencer profiles in key categories & deliverables to drive client success
• Develop influencer campaign briefs including defined deliverables, KPIs and messaging requirements for US and global influencer partnerships
• Effectively evaluate and communicate an influencer's potential fit with a brand
• Lead research efforts to identify authentic influencer candidates
• Oversee outreach, thoughtful negotiation and procurement of influencers
• Manage all influencer deliverables
• Continuously engage and cultivate long-term relationships with MMGY’s network of influencers
• Audit social media coverage to ensure posts are consistent with industry guidelines and brand messaging
• Understanding & enforcement of proper FTC disclosures
• Stay on top of industry trends & social media advancements
• Take ownership of influencer budgets and strategy for influencer initiatives
• Work alongside social media team on content strategy in order to incorporate influencer-generated content and determine collaborations, giveaways and other promotional events

Key Experience & Skills Needed

We are looking for someone who works well in a collaborative environment and is capable of both revolutionary ideation and rapid execution.

• 3- 5 years of experience working in influencer marketing is a must
• BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
• Prior advertising agency experience is preferred
• Travel industry experience or knowledge a plus
• No “task is too small” attitude with the desire to collaborate across teams - from ideation to creation
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to align and collaborate cross-functionally
• A highly organized doer with an exceptional ability to multitask, who will take initiative and execute
• Ability to cultivate genuine long-term relationships
• Analytical mindset with the ability to draw smart conclusions from data
• Robust understanding of social media platforms, analytics and social media marketing tools
• Must have strong written & verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively both externally with clients & internally with peers
• Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced & deadline-driven environment
• Imagination to develop social-first campaign strategies & promotions that will resonate with target audiences
• Ability to handle multiple campaigns for several clients simultaneously, while maintaining quality of work
