MKS2 Technologies is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to join our clients team at our client’s site in Dulles VA, Chantilly, VA, Springfield VA, or Richardson TX.
- 2 years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies
- 1 years of experience with DevOps pipeline tools and technologies, including containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm) and automation tools (Chef, ArgoCD , Terraform, Jenkins)
- Experience with command line in Linux or UNIX
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Systems administration in Linux systems
- Troubleshooting across multiple pieces of software and system components
- Planning and/or executing software upgrades
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Python for scripting
- AWS Associate Certification
- BA or BS technical degree (e.g. computer science)
- Security CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain Security CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 month
