Some of your general office responsibilities will include: invoicing, shipping, answering the phones, greeting visitors, and filing. Prior accounts receivable experience is a plus, as you will manage A/R in this role. We will look for candidates who have a strong attention to detail and a flair for punctuality. Computer skills are also required, including experience with Microsoft Office. Experience with accounting systems such as Sage 100 or similar software is desired.

Essential Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Serves as backup to front desk receptionist for all breaks/lunches & as needed
• Creating packing lists & invoices for shipments
• Maintain open customer external purchase orders in an organized manner
• Issue manual packing lists for miscellaneous items being sent to customers
• Issue credit card charges as applicable
• Filing all signed packing lists and invoices
• Mailing/E-mailing invoices on daily basis
• Maintaining and updating aged invoice report
• Sending out monthly statements
• Excellent fundamental Excel skills
• Month end completion of invoices
• Set up customer conference room for sales meetings
• Completes credit checks for customers to establish net 30 terms
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Keep quotes filled and organized
• Must pass background check and drug screening
