MITER is Hiring a Vice President Sales National Retail Near Harrisburg, PA

MITER Brands also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for a Vice President of Sales for National Retail. In this role you will be responsible for all sales activities relating to MITER Brands most profitable and significant client/customers for new construction. This leader will be responsible for establishing relationship with key clients by gathering information about needs and implementing changes to provide effective customer satisfaction, supporting our vision to be the most valued Window and Door brand in America.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all new construction sales for all three company branches: MI Windows and Doors, Milgard Windows and Doors, and Sunrise Windows and Doors
  • Maintain and establish relationships with key customers
  • Gather information about need and support implementation changes to provide first class customer satisfaction.
  • Leads, designs, and implements action plans to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Works with senior leadership to make recommendations to other levels of senior management based on internal and external factors
  • Leads and directors a world class sales team by taking responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and team development
  • Collaborates with other members of the executive management team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization
  • Develops and establishes procedures and practices to help deliver consistent and result driven customer experiences
  • Support sales team to enhance MI’s position and wallet share of current customer base
  • Understand the needs of current and existing customers and be able to communicate that to develop strategy to support with sales team
  • Lead sales team to develop and maintain a pipeline of potential new customers
  • Support upcoming product/brand transition – customer communication, transition, and support
  • Lead negotiations in new contracts and pricing agreements with new customers and business opportunities

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Management, Marketing, or related field; and at least 15 years of successful sales experience
  • Superior construction market and industry understanding
  • Large portfolio of sales experience and the ability to lead a large team both directly and indirectly
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills
  • Detailed oriented and very organized
  • Professional; self-starter
  • Visionary (or pro-active) leader that can tie together the entire selling process from quoting through delivery
