Customer Service Supervisor – Alexandria, Minnesota
Reports To: Finance Manager
This is an exempt, salary position. Starting pay $73,088 – $91,360
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer service representatives (CSRs) and daily functions of the customer service office
- Manage CSR scheduling, time off requests and trainings
- Perform annual evaluations for all CSRs
- Primary point of contact for payment assistance agencies
- Balance daily transactions to the general ledger
- Serve as a back-up to the lead biller
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public
- Retain and dispose of business records as defined by the State of Minnesota
- Microsoft Office proficiency and knowledge of general office operations
Education / Experience:
Minimum qualifications
- At least two years in a supervisory role
- Associate degree in finance, business, communications or a related field, or five years of relevant work experience.
Preferred experience:
- Customer service experience in the utility industry
- Experience working with an automated billing system preparing and analyzing billing reports
