RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is a key team member of the Missouri Cobalt finance and accounting team and will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, corporate accounting, loan compliance, and supporting the annual audit process. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller, this role offers a unique opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of topics and challenges associated with the rapid growth of the company and maturation of the finance function. • Prepare external financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary financial data and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting processes.
• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and reporting standards and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during financial audits.
• Research, propose, and memorialize approaches for complex accounting areas and financial reporting matters.
• Assist with month end close and recording of complex transactions.
• Continuously review and streamline financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
