Miriam's Gen Ed to Special Education training program gives support to teachers who want to get DESE special education certified. After passing the special education exam, Miriam places participants in full-time positions in schools located in or near St. Louis, Missouri.

A seasoned SPED teacher provides participants with one-year of mentoring to ensure new teachers are successful. Program participants also meet monthly to learn new skills. If you are interested in learning more about this program, apply now for the 2024-25 school year. The program is FREE.
