Mintmesh is Hiring an IT Project Manager Near Detroit, MI
As an IT Project Manager, this role will be attached to our Engineering Team and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and timely release of software projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Planning for Release: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Create and maintain project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, to ensure successful software releases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including team members, clients, and management. Provide regular updates and ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and address obstacles that may hinder project progress. Work closely with team members to remove impediments and facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Stakeholder Alignment and Negotiation: Engage with stakeholders to align their expectations and negotiate priorities for timely release. Facilitate collaboration and decision-making among stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Requirement Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for upcoming quarters. Plan and coordinate the execution of projects based on these requirements.
- Agile Implementation: Apply agile methodologies and strategies to foster a self-organizing and high-performing team. Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement and optimize team performance.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience of 4 - 5 years in a related field
- Proficiency or willingness to learn project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana to plan, track, and manage project tasks and progress.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams to facilitate effective communication and
coordination among team members. - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Ability to use data analytics and reporting tools to monitor project performance and provide actionable
insights.
