Mindset Spaces is Hiring a Registered Nurse (FT/PT) Near New York, NY
- Provide compassionate, individualized care to patients by prescribed interventions/treatments
- Assist with crafting and implementation of individualized holistic treatment plans to promote patient wellness in collaboration with a prescribing psychiatrist and nurse practitioner
- Prepare, oversee, and administer IV infusions for Ketamine treatments by established protocols and procedures, with a strong focus on compassionate communication, patient support, patient safety, patient monitoring, and post-infusion followup
- Prepare, oversee, and administer intranasal and oral ketamine therapy by established protocols and procedures, with a strong focus on compassionate communication, patient support, patient safety, patient monitoring, and post-infusion followup
- Provide patient information and psychoeducation based on established protocols and best clinical practices before, during, and after patient sessions
- Contribute to creating a healing environment for patients, including one that is organized, clean, and safe
- Coordinate patient care with members of the Clinical and Operations teams
- Monitor patient data and clinical feedback through the patient app
- Provide feedback to clinical leadership on how to improve patient experience
- Execute comprehensive nursing assessments as per established protocols
- Collect and store patient medical information in a fully compliant and respectful manner
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) with current active New York State RN license
- ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification Preferred
- 3 years experience working in an outpatient behavioral health or adjacent setting, ideally in a private practice or start-up environment where an entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued
- 2 years of ED or ICU experience, or Infusion center experience
- A professional and compassionate communicator within a direct care setting and also about care coordination and communicating with other members of the clinical team
- Excited to work in a mental health care setting and ideally with proven clinical experience in an ambulatory mental health service delivery model
- Highly adept at placing IVs, trained and experienced in cardio-respiratory monitoring, and comfortable monitoring patients during and after intravenous infusions
- Experience with phlebotomy, treatment injections, and intravenous infusions is critical, and previous experience with ketamine is a plus
- A compassionate caring professional who can effectively communicate with the IV team, patients, and their families
- Proficient in collecting and documenting vitals, have worked across various EHR platforms
