- Act as a primary liaison between our clinical team and patients in ensuring excellence in quality of care and overall patient satisfaction
- Educate patients and families on all aspects of our care model from initial intake through post-treatment followup, setting and managing expectations accordingly
- Work with patients to identify obstacles or gaps in care, problem solving to resolve client complaints or concerns as they arise in real time
- Secure proper insurance authorization for patient treatments in conjunction with the clinical team
- Manage post-treatment outreach and documentation to ensure full compliance with established patient care plans
- Promptly respond to patient or family needs and concerns, informing the clinical team accordingly
- Execute regular quality assurance reviews with client families and the clinical team
- Independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license that is active and unrestricted in the State of New York
- 3 years of experience in a related mental health environment preferred
- Ability to work in-person at our NYC clinic daily
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate, highest-tier customer service
- Clear track record of independent troubleshooting as a proactive self-starter
- Proficiency in handling confidential patient information and associated regulations
- Capability to master internal digital systems such as EHR and telehealth, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet softwares
