Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
MindCare Solutions is a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health solutions foracute care facilities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and collaborative group.
Compensation: $120,000 per year Bonus Opportunities
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate a patients' mental health status
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary
- Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects
- Perform med floor and ed consults with patients
- Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to patients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions

Qualifications:
- Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in TX
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide)
- Direct experience with acute care facilities is preferred as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Active and unrestricted driver’s license
