Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education on medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide counseling on preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as ER, urgent care, family medicine and pediatrics,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes
- Strong problem-solving abilities to assess complex healthcare situations
- Proficiency in starting and managing IVs
- Experience with telemedicine
- Experience in integrative medicine and or functional medicine is a huge plus
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by an accredited certifying body
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
