This role involves instructing students in various physical activities, fostering teamwork, and encouraging lifelong health and fitness habits. A successful Middle School Physical Education Teacher not only imparts knowledge of physical fitness and wellness, but also instills a love for an active and healthy lifestyle. The successful candidate fosters a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student understanding and proficiency utilizing a standards-aligned curriculum. The Physical Education Teacher will utilize assessment data to determine progress against instructional objectives and will utilize instructional strategies and differentiated instruction to support all students to achieve their goals. In this position, the Middle School Physical Education Teacher will also work collaboratively with staff members, administrators, families, and other stakeholders to support students to achieve. They will work to create a positive and motivating environment that is crucial for encouraging students to develop lifelong habits that contribute to their overall well-being.
