Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Carl N. Williams JR MD CHTD

We are a hand and plastic surgery office seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for specialty healthcare services to patients of all ages in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals. 

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses of the hand as well as both acute and chronic, complex wounds of the body. 
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health management
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada.
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferably in wound care or orthopedics
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
