Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the facility
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for events or special occasions
- Maintain records and prepare reports on housekeeping activities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and floor care
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other departments
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies
