JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager performs a cross-functional role supporting a team of consultants across multiple clients and projects. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and external collaborators, supporting client relationships, and driving project success in a complex consulting environment. This role is pivotal in translating client needs into actionable plans and overseeing the execution of consulting projects from start to finish. With a keen organizational acumen and outstanding communication abilities, the Project Manager will provide regular insights and updates to the Managing Partner, ensuring that all projects are aligned with our high standards and operational objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress. Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget. Appropriately manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs ensuring adherence to proper approval mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with project team to ensure internal processes are being followed by all team members and that project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular project reviews and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks. Implement risk management strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and all stakeholders. Communicate project objectives, progress, and changes effectively.
  • Lead and motivate project teams. Promote a collaborative work environment and resolve any conflicts.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including coordination to address project requirements and challenges.
  • Bring passion, commitment, and a spirit of curiosity to your work.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven working experience (3-5 years) as a Project Manager in a consulting or agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (experience with Wrike is a plus).
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, control expenses, and ensure the profitability of projects through careful financial planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills to develop strong team performance.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite.

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $65,000.

Travel Requirements: Occasional intra- and/or inter-state travel required, sometimes requiring an overnight stay.
